Family Reunion

Madalyn and her sister Corinne got their families together at the Young Living Farms in Mona for a little family reunion. It was such a perfect spot with lots of activities for the kids, young and old alike. We enjoyed a picnic lunch under the pavilion, ice cold sodas courtesy of Ann, and paddle boat rides in the fish filled pond. The kids explored the "old western town" and owned the playground. They discovered buffalo and elk and even a zeedonk. (Yes, a zebra and donkey all in one. Who knew?)But with all that excitement, I believe the most entertaining was trying to get the kids together for a picture.
The best one turned out to be the one with Reagan's finger up her nose. Nice.

Morgan was the only one who took a nice shot. What a precious little lady! Our hopes for a nice family picture were dashed by a tired, hungry and hot two-year-old. She wasn't having it.

Eventually, all of the sugar kicked in and the kids found the rocks by the waterfall enticing. Although they still barely posed for a picture, they were happy playing with their cousins.

All in all it was such a wonderful afternoon visiting with our loved ones from near and far. It's always nice to get together and catch up and remember the importance of family.
