Caribbean Tales; the rest of the trip

We were privileged to tour the tropical island of St. Lucia along with the distributors on day 6. Despite the supremely long bus ride, our sweet guide with the very precise and emphasized speech, was able to show us many fascinating things.
This was the most picturesque island to me. How beautiful is this?

The locals maintained a beautiful botanical garden full of vibrant plants that shimmered from the occasional tropical rain. It was so clean and crisp; definitely my favorite location of the whole trip.

St. Lucia houses a giant volcano. behind us is a caldera, it reminded me of Yellowstone... just a little warmer. The executive team all snazzy.
Our last stop took us to a beautiful beach in Barbados where the locals were very experienced in sales. This particular local used his charming ways to get me to purchase a necklace or two. After being approached by dozens of merchants already, I regretfully had to decline a new piece of jewelry. Needless to say that his charm diminished into discourtesy.

After a week in the sun with abundant fun, we kissed the Serenade of the Sea goodbye and headed into San Juan with our carry-ons in tow. This city was just as beautiful as all of the other ones that had welcomed us. The architecture here was fascinating... very ornate in such a simple way.

After a two long flights, a few catnaps, and much anticipation, we arrived in Salt Lake at midnight. Since our sweet babies were long asleep at Mama's and Papa's, we retired one last time childless. Finally, 7:30 on Sunday morning I got to feel the much missed hugs of my girls. Even though the warm sun, the salty sea breeze, and the carelessness of no children were great, there is nothing in this world that can ever compare to the loving embrace of your children. I was happy to have the memories, but more happy to be home!
