Recently I have been thinking of how blessed I am to have such a wonderful family. It is so hard to imagine that I once lived without these three beautiful people. Now, we are together... forever. What a true miracle! I know that the Lord prepared me for Jon and Jon for me. No other in this world is my exact match. And what can I say about our two precious girls? All I know is that I must have done something right somewhere along the way to have the opportunity to have children, and healthy children at that. There are days when I wonder "what if I finished FIDM and lived out my dream? What if my path never crossed Jon's. Where would I be?" Then I am overwhelmed with gratitude that I took the simple path, the one that I was commanded to take... motherhood. What greater joy is there?

Well, this may just be selfish of me, but I'm SO glad you crossed Jon's path because we all liked him more when you were around. AND I got to have you in my life - so I consider myself blessed! Love you guys!
This picture is so lovely, Brittany.
I think we all wonder how we can contribute in some big way. I know I do. I've actually been thinking about that a lot lately. And I haven't quite gathered all my thoughts, so I am going to remain quiet for now. But I think I know what you mean.
But I also completely laud what you said about family and motherhood and the incomparable joy it has brought to my life. I would give everything else up to have these two blessings.
