Jon and I were talking this morning and I think Papa Bear is going through a little "nesting" phase. He was so concerned that all of our little house projects wouldn't be finished by the time the baby arrived. (We have five more months.) Well, he rubbed off on me and now I'm making "to do" lists that seem to go on forever.
Of course, I am being completely unrealistic thinking that I can check off everything on that list. There are times that I forget that I'm not as energetic and accomplished as I used to be.
I truly miss the ability and stamina to marathon for three days straight without so much as a wink of sleep or a cracker to eat. Those were the days when I could paint the house, make new curtains, and refinish a table in 48 hours. Not so much anymore.
Times change and there are things that you give up for others. Being a mom and wife with time to give is much more important to me than the ability to complete my projects.
All it takes is for Morgan to grab my finger and the task at hand is forgotten.

You would work for 48-72 straight without sleeping or eating? Holy cow woman! There is NO way that I could do that. And I feel the same way...you don't have the ease of working on stuff when you want to or getting as much done as you want to, but I wouldn't trade my life for anything.
